Would you like to work in the field between business and IT and ensure Nordea’s compliance with regulatory reporting? We are now looking for a Business Analyst to take responsibility for becoming a regulatory reporting export and improving and maintaining our transaction reporting solutions.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Transaction Reporting team. We add value by doing delegated regulatory reporting on behalf of Nordea’s customers, serve Nordea’s other counterparties to perform their own reporting, create transparency of financial instruments and create a healthier financial market by enabling the financial services authorities to detect market abuse and to prevent the next financial crisis. More importantly, by ensuring Nordea’s compliance with transaction reporting regulations we ensure that Nordea continues to have its license to operate. As a business analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in ensuring our regulatory transaction reports complete and accurate with good quality and reconciled with our clients/counterparties.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring that all transactions in financial securities and derivatives are reported to the regulators
  • Reconciling our reporting with our customers and counterparties
  • Responding to the regulators’ inquiries
  • Working with IT to design and test improvements to our reporting solutions
  • Collaborating with business, IT and legal departments in all countries where Nordea operates

You’ll join a team which strives to find efficient and scalable solutions which send out thousands of transaction reports to the regulators on daily basis. The role is based in Łódź.

  • Can read external reporting guidelines from the regulators and how those relate to Nordea

 

Your experience and background: 

  • Professional English communication skills spoken and written
  • You are good at documenting and tracking cases
  • Comprehending regulatory requirements is not a problem for you
  • If you are not familiar with writing SQL queries, be ready to learn Oracle SQL
  • Being familiar with Python is an great advantage
