We are looking for a Global Capacity and Production Planner to join the Business and Data Analysis team within Nordea Operations. The role will be focused on supporting Leaders to forecast, to plan, and to be in control of expected volumes and required capacity to meet customer demands. About this opportunity

 

Business and Data analysis concerns a team of dynamic professionals, dedicated to providing comprehensive support for the Service Lines in Operations through advanced data analysis, actionable insights and compelling visualisations.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Forecast production needs based on historical data, market trends and any other relevant metrics
  • Involve and align with relevant stakeholders in the Capacity Planning and Production value chain
  • Support, and be sparring partner to Leaders, with the actual execution of the production plan
  • Anticipate production requirements and available capacity and plan accordingly
  • Plan and prioritize to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Determine and optimize available capacity (manpower) to cover forecasted demand
  • Monitor progress to ensure production is finished ‘on time in full’
  • Evaluate the accuracy and performance of the forecasting and production planning process and implement improvements based on data

 

You will not only cover a wide range of responsibilities in relation to handling tasks and support colleagues, but also get a chance to impact strategic, tactical and operational decisions and evolve personally and professionally.

 

You'll join an international Nordea team consists of 10+ employees (locations includes Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia and Poland). The role is based in Łódź, Gdańsk, Gdynia or Warsaw, Poland.

To succeed in this role the following capabilities are required:

  • We are looking for a result oriented professional who has experience with management support, data analytics or potentially in consultancy. It is essential that you take a cross-functional perspective in discussions on business plans
  • You need to be able to engage stakeholders in order to manage expectations and always strive to support the operational service lines in the best possible way. An analytical mind-set and strong interpersonal skills are a prerequisite
  • Additionally you must thrive in an environment where standards are high and deadlines can be short. We value candidates who are good at keeping an overview of how to optimise processes while being able to structure and organise effectively
  • Data visualisation skills are needed often so having working experience with this is regarded as plus

Expectations for the skills:

  • Excellent skills on MS Office tools, especially Excel
  • Power BI, Power Query and SQL skills are regarded as advantage
  • Lean and operational excellence knowledge are regarded as advantage
  • English is main working languages thus expectation is to be fluent
