We are now looking for a Country Security Manager to coordinate and drive the physical security agenda in Nordea Poland, while being an active part of Nordea Group’s Physical & People Security unit spanning the Nordics, Poland, and Estonia.

About this opportunity

As the Country Security Manager, you will be the focal point in Poland regarding all operational physical security matters, coordinating and driving the local implementation of physical security guidelines and standards in a Polish context. You will support the organisation and local stakeholders with subject-matter expertise in physical security to keep employees and assets safe and secure. Nordea in Poland is primarily located in Łódź, Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia), and Warsaw. You will be expected to be able to travel to the various premises in Poland.

You will report to the Head of Physical & People Security and be part of a team of highly skilled colleagues across the Nordics, Poland, and Estonia, working closely with a range of stakeholders internally as well as externally.

What you will do:

  • Manage and develop Nordea’s Physical Security Programme in Poland and coordinate physical security activities across the country organisation
  • Be the local focal point for physical security topics in Poland across all sites and corporate premises
  • Guide, follow up, and govern security vendors/partners to ensure that service delivery meets industry standards and best practice
  • Ensure that the technical physical security setup (e.g., CCTV, intrusion alarms and access management) is fit for purpose and aligned with applicable standards
  • Support, advise, and guide internal stakeholders on physical security topics, translating requirements into clear, actionable guidance
  • Work closely with security professionals across the Nordics, Poland, and Estonia to drive continuous improvement, consistent risk/issue follow-up, and alignment on standards
