We are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Senior/Chief Specialist - Starszy / Główny Specjalista ds. BHP. You'll play a valuable role in improving working conditions and wellbeing of Nordea employees.

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Answering employees' OHS, wellbeing and ergonomics-related questions and needs
  • Participating in occupational risk assessment by identifying, analysing and controlling hazards and risks
  • Cooperating with numerous local and group- level departments in the field of OHS and wellbeing
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements in OHS area
  • Ongoing audits of working conditions and ensuring compliance with OHS, fire regulations and ergonomic guidelines
  • Advising employees in the field of ergonomics (office environment)
  • Continuously improving of employee safety and minimization of occupational risk
  • Conducting accident investigations
  • Delivering OHS trainings in Polish and English
  • Preparing OHS documentation (instructions, procedures, internal regulations etc.)
  • Taking part in preparation of various actions promoting OHS, ergonomics and wellbeing among the employees

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you:

  • Are initiative, open-minded, employee-oriented approach supporting employees' wellbeing
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess capability to prioritize tasks and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Have ability to easily adapt to the changing business conditions

 

Your background and skills include: 

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in OHS area
  • Practical knowledge of OHS regulations and Labour Law
  • Ability to advise in the field of office ergonomics
  • Ability to deliver interesting OHS trainings (Polish and English)
  • Experience in carrying out OHS audits, preparing OHS documentation
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Driving license

 

It would be ideal if you also have:

  • Knowledge of ISO standards
  • Fire protection inspector certificate
  • Experience in preparing actions supporting employees' wellbeing
  • Practical knowledge first aid procedures and ERC 2021 guidelines
