About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the newly established ICB Support Team team. We add value by providing great workplace experiences to our colleagues and customers while keeping a cost-conscious mindset and deliver high quality reporting to management. As the Process Specialist/Senior Process Specialist in Financial Control, you will be responsible for collection and monitoring of proofs, nostro reconciliations, accounts payable, fixed assets, expense analysis, accruals, and maintenance of General Ledger.  

 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Preparation of analyses, reports and statements for the internal and external needs  
  • Performing assigned tasks within accounting and controlling area 
  • Manage daily, monthly and yearly-end accounting processes 

 

The team have different backgrounds, areas of competence and experiences and will provide support and facilitating knowledge sharing and development in your daily work. The role is based in Łódź.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have: 

  • Ability to work independently, achieve deadlines, and communicate challenges 
  • Strong analytical skills and an attention to details 
  • Good understanding of current accounting and legal reporting, processes and controls 
  • Effective communication skills and ability to clearly summarize and present also complex topics to provide cost transparency 

 

Your experience and background:  

  • A relevant degree in accounting, finance, business administration or similar 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to express risk concepts effectively 
  • Experience in business and financial analysis  
  • Knowledge of SQL programming/Visual Basics is preferred, but not required 
  • Advanced in Excel skills
