Would you like to join Group People Project Management Office? We are now looking for a Senior Project Leader!

In Nordea, we know that great customer experiences require a team that leads the way in first-class service and operations. We’re more than just a Nordic bank, we’re one of the largest employers in Poland. With us, you’ll work with skilled, international teams in a bright, modern office. The lively and collaborative atmosphere offers plenty of opportunities to learn and grow as you build your career with us.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Group People Project Management Office. We add value by driving strategic projects, including the digital development, where our end-users – employees and people leaders, remain at the centre of everything we do.

That is where you come in. Working with dedicated colleagues in an exciting, fast-paced environment, you will help meet our core business and regulators changing needs. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be driving medium to large, complex, high impact cross-functional projects. You will become a member of a team full of ambitious, execution-oriented project managers, who strive to drive our people priorities and digital journey in an everchanging regulatory landscape.

As the Senior Project Manager you will:

  • Lead medium and large projects: plan, organize, monitor and control
  • Deliver outcomes in cross functional initiatives: HR/People operations, technology implementation, regulatory adoptions
  • Manage external service providers that are impacted by the project scope
  • Communicate ongoing initiative-related updates and timely, relevant information to key stakeholders and senior HR/People leaders
  • Contribute to the development of our internal project management capabilities

The role is based in Helsinki, Oslo, Stockholm, Tallinn; Warszawa or Łódź.

Who you are

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in being at our best – and that we imagine you share with us.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have/are:

  • Proven track (min. 5 years) of leading large and complex projects
  • Experience in implementations of digital SaaS products
  • Experience in transformational projects that redefine the way organization works
  • Superb stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Project management certificate (e.g. IPMA, PMP, Prince2)
  • Not afraid to perform “deep dives” if necessary to understand technical, contractual or any other nature of constrains and struggles in order to support removal of those impediments
  • Find a joy in blending two worlds: HR/People and IT
  • Fluent in English
