We are now looking for an experienced Project Leader who can join our team in Technology organisation.
Your main responsibility is to bring value to our business partners and customers in one of the supporting the major IT project by driving and leading change in a complex IT delivery landscape, catering for both Agile and traditional IT deliveries.
In Nordea Technology we focus on the deliveries of technology services to our business stakeholders but also drive the business process automation agenda. What you’ll be doing
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Ensure the team’s success in delivery, primarily by helping to identify and especially remove impediments impacting the team’s ability to deliver
- Driving improvements as well as ensuring deliveries according to the prioritized backlog
- Together with the teams create a fun and energizing work environment built on trust, inclusion and good communication
- Providing transparency – relevant, clear and accurate metrics
- Proactively manage stakeholders and successfully deliver according to agreed scope and priorities in a predictable, and transparent manner
- Reporting on progress, risks and dependencies
- Proactively demonstrate control of the key issues i.e. risk and compliance, and manage proper mitigating activities to ensure a smooth delivery
You will join a great team of professional Execution Leaders. The role can be based is based in Tricity, Warsaw, Stockholm or Helsinki.

Your background and skills include:
- Experience in working as a project Leader and/or Project Manager in complex programs in an agile setting
- Experience in leading complex initiatives with distributed multi-faceted teams in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of IT process and the software development lifecycle
- Using Agile ways and methods of working and project management.
- Analytical skills and ability to deal with complex issues
- Experience of building strong stakeholder relationships and having strong facilitation skills
- Understanding/experience of PSD2 is a benefit
