Sourcing play a key role in this exciting and challenging journey, and you will working closely together with a dedicated business area as a trusted procurement partner ensuring that Sourcing related activities match Nordea´s objectives from start to finish. About this opportunity
Sourcing works closely with our Business Units within Nordea to deliver cost savings, process efficiencies and create value whilst ensuring regulatory compliance.
You will be working as a procurement partner taking responsibility for the spend and contract portfolio within your dedicated business area ensuring, as well as running sourcing projects in accordance with Nordea Procurement Policy and related guidelines as well as applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Specifically, you will drive a wide range of procurement activities including:
- Identify, lead and manage strategic sourcing initiatives in close cooperation with your stakeholders to deliver cost savings and ensure quality in line with business strategy
- Actively manage your stakeholders by leading and developing the strategic relationship with your key stakeholders
- Driving internal analyses and market analyses to identify market trends and opportunities to optimize the supplier base
- Actively manage your key suppliers to ensure performance and quality throughout the contract lifecycle
- Prepare and execute on negotiation strategies
- Developing tactical and strategic recommendations for project steering committees and managing stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project objectives and strategy

- Have an experience from working in an international company with a diverse culture and daily interaction with many different nationalities
Your profile and background:
- Master's degree e.g. in Law, Business, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain Management or Political/Social Science
- Knowledge of card schemes and/or software is an asset, but not a requirement
- Solid business acumen, enabling you to develop an effective sourcing strategy and influence suppliers and key stakeholders in the organization
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Experience in Project Management and Change Management would be an asset
- Proven track record in sourcing and negotiation is a strong advantage
