Sourcing play a key role in this exciting and challenging journey, and you will be driving a range of sourcing activities across multiple Business Units and across a range of different categories with stakeholders at all levels. You will be working in a dynamic, fun and fast-paced environment with colleagues across the Nordics and Poland.
Your key responsibility will be to find innovative and more cost efficient ways of delivering banking services, securing full compliance with regulators requirements, and we will focus heavily on your training and development enabling you to learn and grow as you build your career with us.
About our team
Meet the Tactical Sourcing & Enablement team. Our role is to drive sourcing activities and projects across multiple Business Units and across a range of different categories with stakeholders at all levels, contributing to Nordea’s cost/income ratio. You will be working in a dynamic, fun and fast-paced environment with colleagues across the Nordics and Poland.
Our team is working in a dynamic, fun and fast-paced environment with colleagues across the Nordics and Poland. Tactical Sourcing & Enablement team is located in Lodz, with 9 people in the team, incl. Sourcing Managers & Sourcing Analysts. Reporting line is Lodz and across Nordics.

Main responsibilities in this role:
- Independently leading a range of procurement activities as a sourcing manager in accordance with Nordea Procurement Policy and related guidelines as well as applicable laws, rules and regulations
- Driving internal analyses and market analyses to determine the appropriate sourcing strategy
- Preparing for and executing negotiations with suppliers
- Developing tactical and strategic recommendations for project steering committees and managing stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project objectives and strategy
- Drafting of contracts in close cooperation with our legal experts to ensure that we reduce risks and costs while increasing the value of our contracts
- Suggesting and driving improvement activities to procurement processes and tools
- Collaborating closely with Contract Management team and other teams/units outside of Sourcing unit
Who you are
Your background and skills include:
- Master's degree, e.g. in Law, Business, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain Management or Political/Social Science
- Min. 3 years of experience in sourcing, sourcing projects and working with suppliers
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders on all organizational levels
- Solid business acumen, enabling you to develop an effective sourcing and negotiations strategy, and to influence suppliers and key stakeholders in the organization
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have experience with international roles with a diverse culture and daily interaction with many different nationalities
- Have experience in working with agreements or other legal documents
- Have experience in overall Project Management and Change Management
