We are now looking for a Cost Control Team Lead, in this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing cost control strategies, ensuring procurement activities align with budgetary goals, and leading a team dedicated to optimising cost efficiencies across the organisation.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Procurement Services team. We add value by managing Purchase to Pay Nordea process. As the Cost Control Team Leader, you’ll play a valuable role in setting up cost control strategies to optimise cost efficiency across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the cost control team in monitoring and analysing procurement-related expenditures
- Continuously review processes to identify areas for cost reduction, process efficiency, and best practices
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to ensure cost efficiency and optimisation across the organization
- Collaborate with Sourcing Managers and Business Areas to ensure accurate and transparent cost tracking
- Conduct regular cost variance analyses and provide reports to senior management with recommendations for improvement
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
You’ll join a Procurement Services Management Team to drive support Nordea Purchase to Pay strategy building. The role is based in Łódź or Tricity.

- SAP Concur knowledge will be an asset
Your experience and background:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, cost control with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting
