About this opportunity

 

Welcome to Nordea Liv’s Service Operations team. We are looking for a Senior Supplier Manager to take end-to-end responsibility for the governance and performance of our Technology suppliers. As Supplier Manager, you will build strong, professional partnerships while ensuring that services are delivered in line with contracts, service levels, regulatory expectations and business needs. You will work closely with Application Owners and Providers, Procurement, Risk, Security and our suppliers to drive service quality, cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

 

The role offers a broad interface across operational delivery and strategic supplier development.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Own the governance and relationship management of Nordea Liv technology suppliers. 
  • Lead contract lifecycle activities, including renewals, re-negotiations and commercial follow-up.
  • Monitor supplier performance against contract terms and SLAs, follow-up on service credits and  performance improvement actions.
  • Maintain supplier register and manage supplier risk in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary escalation point, coordinate and support the resolution of service, commercial and contractual issues in close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency and cost transparency across the supplier portfolio.

The role is based in Oslo or Bergen.

You combine a structured and analytical approach with strong relationship-building skills. You communicate clearly, create alignment across stakeholders and are comfortable challenging suppliers constructively. You take ownership, follow through on commitments and balance operational priorities with long-term commercial and strategic objectives.

 

To succeed in this role, we believe that this describes you:  

  • Relevant experience of at least 5 years in technology supplier management, sourcing or contract management. 
  • Structured and detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management – confident in engaging with both technical and business leadership.
  • Knowledge about ICT third party risk management and regulations like DORA is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Norwegian.
