Senior IT Analyst to Liquidity Risk

About this opportunity

 

Warm welcome to the Platform Analysis Middle Office team.  We add value by providing great people, primarirly working as IT analysts to different execution structures focused on Banking and Institutional Technologhy (BIT) and in this case the Liquidity Risk area. As an senior IT analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in defining business and IT requirements and alinging our IT solutions/domain to these requirements, applying Nordea standards and frameworks in a mindful way. At the same time we see that you will build your competence as an IT analyst in general.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders at TALM-Liquidity & Funding to refine, define and analyse business requirements related to LCR, NSFR, IRRBB and liquidity stress testing.
  • Help define and create the foundation for our future strategic setup for Ambit Focus application
  • Hands on tasks related to configuration of the application as well as performing source to target data mapping work for major data flows
  • Working closely together with subject matter experts from the vendor (FIS) and business users in the TALM area in a upgrade project  
  • Analyse data and enhancing our current data load setup using MS SQL
  • Help define and implement our future operating model within the DevOps framework
  • Collaborate and learn from our existing business and IT analysts working in the area.
  • Work closely with developers and others to ensure the delivery of high quality IT solutions.
  • Support other parts and capabilities in the area - like testing, operations and infrastructure.

Your experience and background:  

  • A relevant university degree (Economics, Engineering, data science, mathematics or similar)
  • > 5 years experience working in or with IT development projects close to business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of architecture and IT solution design.
  • Great communication skills and experience working with diverse teams.
  • Good knowledge of SQL(Databases) and some coding experience.
  • Experience with working in agile ways of working(Agile/SAFe)).
  • Advantage with previous experience working with FIS software ALM or similar treasury applications.
  • Advantage with experience from the Treasury or Markets business and/or IT domains.
