About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Corporate and Transactions Architecture Team. We add value by working closely with senior management and all other stakeholders on the business side as well as the technology side on translating business trends and new regulation into actionable initiatives and fit-for-purpose solutions. As the Enterprise Architect, you’ll play a valuable role by understanding changing business strategies and requirements, by bringing your technology competence to the table and by merging these two into design of well architected, user friendly and cost effective solutions.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with other architects, business and technology stakeholders on developing Architecture Visions and Target & Transition Architectures for various parts of the business and the technology landscape with a main focus on the payments related area
  • Support the various execution structures and development teams building the solutions with architecture and governance/approval processes
  • Join and/or run enterprise architecture assignments going across several Service Areas
  • Represent Architecture in various steering committees and other governance foras
  • Support proof-of-concept and procurement processes of new software and technology
  • Manage the architecture elements of new technology adoption processes
  • Support and coach less senior architects in the relevant areas
  • Work with all four architectural disciplines and at all abstraction levels
  • Work with all business lines related Corporate customers, but the main focus will be Corporate Banking and closely related areas like cash management and corporate lending

 

You’ll join an experienced team where the members combined have a broad and deep knowledge of the business, of technology and of all the architecture disciplines. This role is open in Helsinki or Gdańsk. We work in a hybrid model (60 % onsite, 40 % remote), combining office collaboration with flexible remote work.

Your experience and background, you have:

  • A strong understanding of Corporate Banking as a business area, including products and services such as lending, cash management, payments, and trade finance
  • Experience working with corporate core banking platforms or large‑scale banking systems supporting corporate customers
  • Understand end‑to‑end corporate banking processes and how they are supported by core platforms and integrations
  • A strong understanding of payments as a business line for a large cross border bank and a solid background in technology disciplines
  • A keen interest in architecture, master the architectural disciplines and have the ability to take high level business strategies and objectives and transform them to  tangible and executable architectures
  • Good knowledge of and maybe earlier certifications in ITIL and TOGAF
  • A good understanding of agile execution models – including SAFe – and experience in working with them
  • Probably a Bachelor's or a Master's in computer science, engineering or similar or another technology related background combined with many years of experience working in and with architecture functions
