About Our Team

 

Meet the Deposits Application Maintenance team. Our role is to secure uninterrupted services for Nordea customers and users.

 

Our team adds value by ensuring undisturbed operations of core applications and their environment in Service Area Retail Products and Core Technology. We enable smooth daily work for end-users and do our best to minimize any negative impact on Nordea customers. Our team is a group of 35 people with various skill sets, backgrounds, and experience who work together to run the bank. We are located mainly in Gdańsk and Warsaw, but you can also find some of us in Łódź and Copenhagen.

 

Our technology stack includes, but is not limited to: Transact (T24), Oracle SQL (XMLType), Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, and Kafka.

 

We are looking for a 2nd Line Support Specialist (IT Analyst) to play a valuable role in the Bank's IT operations, helping to streamline our processes and deliver reliable services.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyzing, reproducing, and solving incidents
  • Working with problem tickets
  • Developing and improving monitoring and tooling
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and developing new solutions, including AI agents
  • Participating in knowledge transfer sessions
  • Contributing to the knowledge database

 

Who You Are


This is the right role for you if you:

  • Have strong communication skills and are solution-oriented with a can-do approach when dealing with challenges
  • Are fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Have excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Can work effectively under pressure

 

Your Background and Skills Include

 

Required:

  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in the IT industry (maintenance or development)
  • Good command of SQL
  • Programming skills: Python and/or Java
  • Knowledge of ITIL and CI/CD
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or AppDynamics

 

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Temenos Transact (T24) system, including AA module and DES
