About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Core Banking Application team. We add value by guarding undisturbed operations of core  applications and their environment. We enable smooth daily work for end users and keep away any negative impact from bank’s customers. As a 2nd line Support Specialist (IT Developer/IT Analyst), you’ll play a valuable role being part of bank IT operations, helping to streamline our process and deliver a reliable service.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analysing, reproducing and solving Incidents
  • Working with Problem tickets
  • Developing and improving monitoring and tooling
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and developing new solutions
  • Participating in Knowledge Transfer sessions
  • Contributing to Knowledge Data Base

 

You’ll join an unique group of people with a various skill sets that work together to run the bank. The role is based in Gdańsk.

Your experience and background:

  • Good command of SQL language
  • Good command of software programming - JAVA
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in IT industry
  • English language on the professional level
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Valid work permit

 

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Temenos Transact (T24) system including AA module and DES
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes technologies.
  • Knowledge of Kafka and/or MQ
  • Knowledge of Oracle XMLType
  • Experience with Weblogic
  • Banking experience
  • Knowledge of Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana
  • ITIL Foundation certificate
