Welcome to the Trading Data Warehouse & BI team, where you will work in an fast-paced, agile environment, with stakeholders representing Scandinavia’s largest trading floor. We are supporting a wide range of business processes in Nordea’s Trading business domain. 


About this opportunity

The primary responsibility is to deliver BI/analytical solutions to internal Nordea Trading Technology business units. Your technical expertise will span across our self-service BI/analytics solutions.
 
In Data & Analytics, Trading Technology, we are delivering the future Data & Analytics platforms and solutions for Nordea Wholesale Banking. We deliver on multiple data platforms (Snowflake Oracle & Hadoop) using various enterprise and self-service data integration and analytical platforms, with focus on Microsoft stack: Power BI hotel (on-prem), Power BI premium cloud (in progress) and MSSQL / SSAS.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop end2end BI and Analytical pipelines.
  • Define the best practice and design patterns to ensure solutions are built in high quality.
  • Actively demonstrating focus on business requirements and understanding of the complete BI/analytics delivery value chain.
  • Proactively engaging stakeholders through clear communication, managing their understanding, expectations and involvement.

 

The role is based in Warszawa or Tricity.

Your experience and background: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in DW, BI & analytics.
  • Academic IT degree (master).
  • Mandatory - expert in one or more of the following technologies:
    • Microsoft PowerBI (on-prem hotel / cloud).
    • Microsoft MSSQL server / SSAS.
    • SQL.
  • Advantage - experience in the following technologies:
    • Oracle RDBMS.
    • Snowflake.
