Would you like to lead a team of data engineers and BI developers ? We are now looking for a Head of Database & Reporting to lead part of our data and analytics delivery team in Poland.

Welcome to the Database & Reporting Development Poland team. We add value by specializing in building data ingestion pipelines and analytical solutions.


What you’ll be doing:


- Lead a team of specialists within data & analytics 

- Build and grow the team

- Take accountability for one or more technical delivery areas

Provide technical leadership and ensure quality and velocity in our development

- Be part of the leadership group in data & analytics and act as a sparring partner towards our line of business delivery teams

  • Have a strong technical background within data & analytics, including several years of hands-on development experience
  • Are very motivated to use your technical as well as people skills to lead and grow the team to deliver high quality business deliverables
  • Like to work in a complex stakeholder environment where we sometime work within highly regulated environments

 

Your experience and background: 

 

  • 5+ years of experience within Data Warehousing architectures, Analytics or streaming technologies
  • Expert within at least one DW storage platform technology: Oracle, MSSQL or Snowflake
  • Experience within at least one following ETL / ingestion technologies: Datastage, SSIS or similar
  • Knowledge of one or more Apache tprojects: Spark, Kafka, Oozie, Storm, etc.
  • At least a few years experience as a people leader
  • Nice to have skills/experience: Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft SSAS, Alteryx, Qlikview
