About this opportunity

Welcome to the MLQR team. We add value by providing calculations in the Liquidity & ALM area.  As IT Operations Specialist, you will play a valuable role in this process, helping with onboarding, maintaining and monitoring services in the on-prem cloud. 

Preferred location is Gdańsk and Gdynia, where the majority of the MLQR team is set. Current internal regulations allow for 3-4 days of remote work per week. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with containerization, architecting, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters 

• Performing deployments of the new releases 

• Collaborate with development teams to provide high availability of services 

• Helping with automation, proactive monitoring, sharing standards 

• Troubleshooting, participating in incident and problem management process 

• Support failover and discaster recovery tests

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• Have hands-on experience in configuring, managing and deploying applications using Kubernetes 

• Are experienced in handling incidents and change management using any popular framework 

• Have in-depth understanding of monitoring, logging and alerting of IT services 

• Strong understanding of Linux and container technologies 

Your experience and background: 

• Experience with deploying, architecting, and operating on-premises containerized environments 

• Worked as Application Support/DevOps in Linux environment 

• Troubleshooting and debugging of IT systems 

• Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written) 

Nice to have: 

• Expertise in at least one scripting languages (ideally shell) 

• Setting up of monitoring rules and alerts with Splunk and Grafana 

• Experience in Data Warehouse and database concepts in general

• Understand common constraints related to containerized Java applications 

• Familiar with application deployment pipelines and CI/CD concepts
