About this opportunity
 

Welcome to the Business Process Automation (BPA) DevOps team. We add value by being a trusted technology partner to enable our BPA business partners to use automation to improve our customer satisfaction. As our BPA DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a valuable role by managing our Business Process Management (BPM) platform. In addition, you will work together with our development teams to support them develop all types of business processes. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as technical Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for our PEGA platform 
  • Perform platform upgrades and maintenance
  • Participate in different automation development streams as the DevOps Engineer 
  • Mentor and train colleagues to become BPA DevOps Engineers

Your experience and background: 

  • Understand Kubernetes architecture, pods and services 
  • Exposure to monitoring tools, e.g. PDC (PEGA Diagnostics Cloud) and Sysdig 
  • Hands on experience with Linux, DB troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding of docker container technology 
  • Experience with agile work cultures

 

Nice to have:

  • Splunk – Creating & Managing Alerts and Reports 
  • knowledge on PEGA Systems deployment, upgrades, license management
