We are looking for an Expert DevOps/SRE Engineer to help us deliver a new strategic data solution named Availability Layer which will play a key role for Nordea's new Data Reference Architecture.

About our team
Meet the Integration team. Our role is to provide, automate and support IT infrastructure based on modern IT toolset to power highly available and cost-efficient applications. As the Expert DevOps/SRE Engineer, you’ll play a valuable role in building the financial solutions of tomorrow.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Building modern infrastructure components, based on on-premise and cloud platforms, such as Kubernetes, Terraform Enterprise, AWS EKS
- Automating infrastructure deployment and configuration
- Acting as Site Reliability Engineer to support service issues, including future on call role
- Working closely with team members and other stakeholders across multiple countries
- Expanding your knowledge and horizons by having access to a large environment and learning from fellow technology-obsessed colleagues
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you are passionate about data management and DevOps methodologies. If you aspire to build a new data platform from scratch, this is the right job for you.
Your background and skills include:
- Experience with various DevOps solutions
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS platforms
- Automating through solutions like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible
- Understanding security implications in the context of a large financial institution
- Source control using Git
- Monitoring with Prometheus/Victoria Metrics/Grafana
- Python, Bash or any other scripting language
- Good English skills
Nice to have, but not strictly required:
- Prior experience with Kong API Gateway, Kafka, Apache Iceberg and Snowflake.
