About this opportunity
Welcome to the “SD Batch, Cross-border & SWIFT QA & Testing” team, where quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement are central to everything we do. We ensure our customers’ needs are met through high-quality SEPA batch payment processing. As a Quality Assurance Leader, you’ll have the chance to shape and develop a high-performing QA and testing team while also contributing hands-on as an experienced QA professional. Working closely with business partners and IT teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering business priorities and advancing quality assurance in a highly important payments area.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and inspiring a global team of QA engineers, including both internal employees and external consultants
- Using your QA expertise to deliver measurable business value through modern, end-to-end quality assurance practices
- Identifying and optimizing ways of working across the ART and contributing to improvements across the wider Domain and Service Area
- Supporting team members in their development and driving testing activities for planned releases, with a strong focus on competence building, knowledge sharing, and effective use of standards, frameworks, and tools
- Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders .
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with in the ART and outside of ART
- Setting team priorities based on delivery roadmaps and actively supporting the team in resolving impediments and managing risks
- Driving the use of AI and automation in testing to improve speed, quality, and efficiency
- Providing proactive feedback to execution leads on build-item planning and readiness based on testing capacity
- Actively participating and contributing in PI plannings and team ceremonies
- Supporting system teams in setting up test environments, integrations, and test data across all QA test levels
- Implementing and adhering to Nordea quality standards
- Creating and driving MTP, release test planning, test reporting, and test execution
- Driving all testing phases ( SIT, E2E, NFT, UAT) with full ownership of QA activities for batch payments testing
- Driving automation first strategy in all testing phases
- Establishing close co-operation between IT , Business Analysis and QA team. Actively coaching team to contribute to Feature enrichment process
- Creating an sense of ownership with in the QA team

Your experience and background:
- A proven track record of delivering complex IT projects
- Experience in payments, including SEPA, instant, or cross-border payments
- Leadership and coaching experience
- Experience in QA and testing roles
- Experience leading multinational teams and collaborating effectively with multiple vendors in complex environments
- A degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field
