We are looking for a matured Expert / Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Application Management and play an important role in a Scrum Team. This is going to be full time employment agreement.

About our team

 

Meet the Trading Data Application Management team. Our role is to support Trading Data Services Tech Domain and business partners by assuring efficient and stable application maintenance.

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Daily proactive application monitoring and maintenance from a technical, administrative and user support perspective.
  • Work closely with the Scrum Team on improving the applications,  achieving automation and efficiency (you will support solution development).
  • Active involvement in Change and Release Management, Migration and Decommissioning Projects.
  • Support the troubleshooting, Incident and Problem Management for your area of responsibility according to ITIL processes.
  • Developing the toolset for efficient application management: monitoring solutions, automations.
  • Contribute to team's Knowledge Management System, build and maintain documentation.

Your background and skills include: 

  • Proficient in English.
  • Very good Linux system administration (Red Hat 8/9).
  • Experience in supporting Docker based environment.
  • Kafka understanding.
  • SPLUNK, SysDig, Grafana.
  • Bash, Python.
  • PostgreSQL knowledge or adequate knowledge of Oracle/PLSQL.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.
  • Having experience with JIRA or any other SCRUM based tools.
  • Basic knowledge of XML.
  • Be able to document your work and build a knowledge base (Confluence / Wiki).
  • Scheduling tools, preferred Crontab/UC4.

 

It would be ideal if you also: 

  • Have RHCSA certification.
  • Know k8s & OpenShift.
  • Read Java code with understanding.
  • Are experienced in ITIL based ticketing tools.
  • Have an experience with Bamboo CI/CD tool.
