About this opportunity
Welcome to the Middle Office Technology in Application Maintenance team. We add value by supporting a range of applications on production environment. As the Senior IT Operations Specialist, you will play a valuable role in simplification, engineering and automation along with maintaining scalable and reliable services for a great customer experience. We closely cooperate with Development, Infrastructure and Business teams following BizDevOps ways of working.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing support of applications from a technical, administrative and use perspective
- Troubleshooting and solving incidents and problems
- Implementing improvements in performance applications and automation of tasks and processes
- Performing deployments of new releases
- Proactively monitoring infrastructure and applications
- Providing on-call support

To succeed in this role, we believe that you are/have:
- Been working as 2nd line of support for complex applications
- 3-5 year experienced in handling incidents and change management using ITIL framework
- Knowledge of deployments of IT systems, monitoring and logging
- Well organized and have talent for proactive problem solving
Your experience and background:
- Worked as Application Support / DevOps in Windows and Linux environment
- Experience in one of scripting languages like Bash / Python / PowerShell
- Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with SQL and Oracle databases
- Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting and debugging
- Experience in automated application deployment pipelines (e.g. using Bamboo)
- Familiar with Windows / RedHat server systems
- Experience in setting up of monitoring rules and alerts (Grafana, Splunk)
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Great communication skills
Nice to have:
- Familiar with Docker Orchestration tools (Rancher, Mirantis, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Ansible
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)
- Knowledge of JFrog Artifactory, Splunk, InfluxDB, Grafana
- Basic knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Java and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of banking industry, especially trading and risk domain would be an asset
