Would you like to manage services and lead a team of experts handling the operation and maintenance tasks in Group Functions Technology? We are now looking for a IT Service Manager with strong technical background to do that.

About this opportunity


Welcome to the Group Functions Technology team delivering business value for Group Credit Management. We add value by supporting, maintaining, deploying and automating a variety of applications. As the IT Service Manager for GCM, working with Nordea Collateral Application (NCA) you’ll play a valuable role in delivering solid service to internal consumers. Moreover you will have significant input on building way of working for your Execution scope.


What you’ll be doing:

  • You will oversee the external vendors to allow cutting edge IT services for internal and external customers.
  • You will manage portfolio of applications to ensure stable delivery of IT services in line with KPIs and SLAs.
  • You will lead IT operations in accordance with ITIL best practices, lean philosophy and agile principles.
  • You will provide technical expertise on complex technical issues, solve and guide your team in solving problems.
  • You will safeguard applications' availability, stability and compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of IT service delivery provided by application support team.
  • Managing performance of the Managed Service vendor
  • Driving internal communication across many stakeholders


The role is based in Gdańsk; Gdynia; Warszawa.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

  • Strong IT technical and leading background
  • Experience from working with Incident Management /Problem Management following ITIL framework
  • International exposure, working in multicultural environment with multiple vendors
  • Knowledge of mentioned technologies: DataStage, Unix, UC4, Jenkins, Docker, Splunk, Appdynamics, Elasticsearch, SQL
  • Understanding of Agile methods is an asset


On a personal level, you are an easily approachable person who wants to work efficiently and like to open communication with various stakeholders. You carry a positive attitude!


Your experience and background:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent communication skills with very good level of English
  • Good organizational skills
