We are strengthening our data science team in People Data & Analytics to drive the next phase of advanced people analytics. We are seeking a talented Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.

Main responsibilities in this role:
- As the Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the setup of an end-to-end machine learning development pipeline that allows the team to start training and serving machine learning models on people data
- Your goal is to transform data in the People Data Mart into reusable features and enable model governance and collaboration between data scientists
- Take prototyped models from data scientists and productionize them so that they scale and work reliably
- Document our machine learning development process and ensure that it will be scalable for future needs. We are in a build-up phase, and you will have a lot of influence over our direction
- Spend time in understanding stakeholder requirements and production system data structures within and outside the team
- Participate in change management and user training to ensure continuous improvement and development
- Mentor junior colleagues and take pride in sharing your knowledge
The role is based in Helsinki, Gdańsk/Gdynia, or Stockholm.

Your background and skills include:
- Academic degree in highly quantitative discipline or specialization such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Software Engineering
- 5-8 years of experience working with machine learning projects
- Experience working with Python, SQL, Jupyter notebooks
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices and ability to implement them in practice
- Experience in AWS e.g. SageMaker & Bedrock
- Experience in productionizing GenAI LLM-based systems
- Fluency in both written and spoken English (professional level)
