Core Technology Change & Delivery is seeking an experienced Lead Project Leader to drive the delivery of critical technology capabilities enabling safe, scalable and compliant AI adoption across Nordea.
In this role, you will lead a portfolio of interdependent initiatives spanning AI governance, Identity & Access Management, network connectivity and security. You will translate strategic AI ambitions into executable delivery plans, establish effective governance and coordinate dependencies across architecture, infrastructure, security, risk and business teams.
You will play a key role in ensuring that foundational capabilities - including identity and privileged access, secure connectivity, network segmentation, platform controls and enterprise guardrails - are delivered in a coordinated, transparent and predictable manner.

About our team
Core Technology Change & Delivery team is responsible for the Project & Programme management, the delivery & execution and governance of our Change Initiatives to ensure we meet our commitments in adherence to our Core Tech Operating Model and according to Nordea Delivery Guide.
What you'll be doing
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI governance and technology-enabler initiatives across IAM, network and security domains.
- Establish and maintain integrated delivery plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, financials, risks and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate delivery across architecture, AI platform, IAM, network, security, cloud, risk, compliance and business teams.
- Translate AI platform and governance roadmaps into executable programmes and clearly sequenced delivery plans.
- Drive the implementation of foundational capabilities required for secure AI adoption, including identity federation, privileged access, connectivity, segmentation, platform security and enterprise guardrails.
- Establish governance frameworks, decision-making forums, controls and operating models supporting the adoption of emerging AI technologies.
- Facilitate governance and approval processes in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements and Nordea’s delivery framework.
- Proactively manage cross-domain dependencies, risks, issues and delivery constraints, escalating where required to maintain momentum and predictable execution.
- Drive alignment between enterprise architecture, security requirements, regulatory obligations and technology delivery roadmaps.
- Ensure operational readiness, including service ownership, support models, resilience, security controls and transition to operations.
- Provide senior stakeholders with concise, decision-oriented reporting on delivery status, financials, risks, dependencies and required actions.
- Promote a strong delivery culture based on ownership, transparency, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Who you are

Your background and skills include:
- Proven track record in leading complex cross-functional technology programmes.
- Strong experience coordinating initiatives spanning Identity & Access Management, Network, Security or enterprise governance functions.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks, controls and operating models supporting adoption of emerging technologies.
- Ability to manage complex dependency landscapes across infrastructure, security, architecture, risk and business stakeholders.
- Experience driving delivery of foundational technology capabilities required by strategic programmes and platforms.
- Strong understanding of security, regulatory and compliance considerations related to cloud and AI technologies.
- Experience facilitating governance forums and steering committees involving senior business and technology leaders.
- Ability to drive alignment between enterprise architecture, security requirements and technology delivery roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of identity, privileged access, connectivity, segmentation, platform security and risk management principles.
- Experience managing large-scale stakeholder ecosystems and influencing decisions across organisational boundaries.
- Very good financial and resource management skills.
- Very good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced presentation skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
- Can-do attitude.
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have an interest in AI governance, AI platforms and emerging technology trends.
- Have experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Understand cloud platform operating models and enterprise security controls.
- Can translate strategic objectives into executable delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
