About this opportunity
 

Welcome to the Cloud Team, a part of Infrastructure Engineering. We add value by enabling capabilities in public cloud and transforming the way infrastructure services are consumed. As the Cloud Product Owner, you’ll play a valuable role in defining and executing on the banks cloud strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working closely with key stakeholders across the Business and Group Business Support.
• Build a cloud strategy with Group Architecture, the business and other key stakeholders.
• Defining Cloud Product roadmaps aligned to the business requirements with key stakeholder.
• Managing day to day activities with the scrum masters, resolving risks and issues.

You’ll join the transformational unit of Infrastructure Engineering.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

• A product owner background and a thorough understanding of cloud technologies.
• 2-3 years' experience in Azure (preferred), AWS or Google.
• Background in infrastructure with a knowledge of building applications.
• Proven track record in leading, influencing and resolving conflict.
• A transformational mindset in defining new ways of operating and working technologies.
• A good understanding of security concepts and banking regulations related to cloud.

Your experience and background:  

• 3-5 years working with cloud technologies, MS Azure preferred with Solution architecture qualification.
• Have worked in an Engineering function, either DevOps or Cloud.
• Have been a solution architect or product owner in Cloud or Infrastructure.
• Worked in agile projects with scrum master experience.
• Have worked in a technology infrastructure space with good understanding of compute, networks, storage and databases.
• Understanding Infrastructure as Code and DevOps.
• Familiar with application development, worked with app teams in building applications.
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Understand security, compliance and risks related to public cloud.
• Familiar with budgeting processes and able to manage investment and run spend.
• Preferably experience leading technical delivery or operational teams.
