About this opportunity

 

This is a unique opportunity to become part of an ambitious team and contribute to shaping the future Order Management applications - enable a new Nordic solution. The team is quite new and we help each other grow and constantly looking for ways to improve ways of working. As the Senior IT Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in analysing the tasks. We are looking for a very technical profile with of strong knowledge on trading systems and financial markets. The ideal candidate is having a profile mixed between the IT Analyst and a Developer, as some coding will be needed.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analysing product flows and design the strategic solution architecture

  • Translate and breakdown requirements in to concrete tasks for developers

  • Support improving our technical foundation and release processes

  • Writing clean and well-structured code in collaboration with the developers

  • Working on strategic projects and communicate with stakeholders across the value chain from business and tech

Your experience and background: 

  • Strong knowledge of trading systems and financial markets

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PowerShell

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Understanding of products, processes and IT systems in a capital markets organization

  • Working experience with Financial information message exchange protocol FIX and Swift will be an advantage

  • Analytical thinker

  • Good communicator and collaborator

  • Structured, knows how to break complex problems into concrete tasks
