About this opportunity

 

We are looking for a Solution Architect to the Cards Domain responsible for crafting solutions that align with the Nordea Group Architecture guidelines, encompassing vision, target, and transitional architecture. Your focus will be on developing solutions that satisfy business needs while considering existing constraints and identifying dependencies and risks, along with recommending corrective measures.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating a unified technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the Agile Release Train
  • Designing solutions compliant with the guidelines of Nordea Group Architecture: vision, target and transitional architecture. Collaborating with Agile Teams to refine the emerging solution design and validate technical assumptions
  • Determining the essential infrastructure and technology requirements for the ART backlog
  • Designing solutions that meet business requirements and take into account the existing limitations
  • Identifying dependencies and risk and proposing remedial actions
  • Cooperation and support for development teams
  • Modelling architecture and creating architectural documentation in BPMN and UML: context diagram, flow diagrams, implementation diagrams, component model, class model, requirements

 

This position is based in Poland (Gdansk, Gdynia, Warsaw) or Finland (Helsinki).

  • Integration knowledge
  • Knowledge of microservices and micro-applications

  • General knowledge of java at the level that allows communication with development teams. Knowing about Angular, React is also useful
  • General knowledge of IBM Mainframe and legacy systems is welcome

Your experience and background:  

  • Experience working as an architect on large projects in international organizations
  • Analysis and design of flows and integration

  • Analysis and management of dependencies
  • Experience in banking is welcome

 

Business domain experience from one or more of the following areas is an advantage:

  • Card Management Systems
  • Transaction and Payments Processing
  • Card and ATM Networks
  • Loyalty Programmes
  • Data Management
  • Security, GDPR and PCI compliance
