About our team
Your day-to-day team – Customer Brain
You will join an agile team which is part of Nordea’s Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) organization. The team is responsible for developing Customer Brain, which is a self-service business intelligence tool for LC&I. It provides a wide range of data and reporting functionalities including profitability reporting & analytics as well as extensive access to the wide data foundation which includes lending, deposits, global cash pools, ESG data, international payments, interest rate & FX hedges, Ratings, KYC and various other data sources. Customer Brain is used by LC&I Management, Client Executives, Relationship managers and other stakeholders.
You will develop the Customer Brain together with 6 skilled professionals located in Finland, Denmark and Poland. You will be directly involved in developing this solution and helping LC&I to gain insights into the customers and make data-driven decisions.
Your Technical Base - CRM & Analytics Team in Corporate Technology
Here is your formal line organization. You will have access to a supportive technical community where you will collaborate with experienced IT colleagues, learn from existing best practices and contribute your own ideas to continuously evolve our engineering craft.

What you'll be doing
As an IT developer in Customer Brain, you will play an important role by building and improving tools that turn data into insights. Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with Product Owner, Business Analysts to understand the requirements and translate them into solutions
- Source, transform, store and visualize data to create meaningful business insights
- Automate data pipelines using frameworks like Airflow and DBT
- Support continuous adoption of the relevant Nordea guidelines and best practices within the Agile team
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve development efficiencies

Your background and skills include:
- You have hands-on experience in report & business intelligence development
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with database and data warehouse
- Familiar with ETL/ELT processes using DBT, Airflow and Snowflake
- Apply AI to boost your development efficiency
- Front-end experience with for example Dash, React and JavaScript is an advantage
