About this opportunity
Welcome to the the Trading Ops SWD Liquidity & Reporting Team. We add value by building a high quality trading platform serving Nordea customers. As Senior IT developer, you will play a valuable role in a variety of projects related to the different steps in the trade lifecycle.
We’re looking for a developer to join the Transaction Reporting technical area. The agile team is responsible for delivering technical solutions that handles reporting of transaction, settlement and position information to tax authorities, central banks, FSA’s, trade repositories and other authorities. In addition to keeping the existing reporting running and developing new reports according to increasing external requirements, we are also on a journey to simplify the system architecture and to move data sourcing and processing towards the strategic tools and architecture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a key member in one of our an agile teams
- Coding robust, well-tested, clean solutions using latest tools and technology
- Mainly working in technologies that you master, but step in/up on different technology areas to help the team to deliver on the commitments given
- Taking the regulatory needs and together with business drive the best solution, where your engineering input is very important to finding that solution
- Participating in our technology communities - dev days, innovation sprints and day to day

Your experience and background:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Understanding of development principles and 5+ years of experience as a Java developer:
- Java, Gradle, Spring Boot, Spring Integration
- Oracle, Kafka
- Experience developing and improving CI/CD pipelines (both on development and deployment side)
- Experience with consuming data from API services
- Understand how to define and design test that covers application including negative test etc.
- Fluency in English, as it is used on a daily basis
It will be a plus to have the following experience. It is ok if you do not have such but we expect you would like to learn them:
- Experience in Docker, experience with Kubernetes is a plus
- Knowledge of Linux (with scripting skills i.e. Bash)
- Understanding of public/private key encryption, key generation, experience in managing certificates (SSL/TSL)
- Experience working with monitoring/observability stack (Splunk, Grafana)
- Experience in managing server resources
