About this opportunity

Welcome to the Group Functions Technology Execution team. As a Senior IT Service Manager, you’ll play a valuable role in providing our customers to the best banking in the world.

What you will be doing:


  • Oversee the external vendors to allow cutting edge IT services for internal and external customers
  • Manage portfolio of applications to ensure stable delivery of IT services in line with budgets, KPIs and SLAs
  • Lead IT operations in accordance with ITIL best practices, lean philosophy and agile principles
  • Be practicing BizDevOps, collaborating closely with business, development and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical expertise on complex technical issues and guide your team in solving problems
  • Automate processes and drive continual service improvement, based on application performance
  • Safeguard applications' availability, stability and compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge articles and records in configuration management database
  • Be responsible for all aspects of IT service delivery provided by application support team

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:


  • Have IT service management experience following incident and problem management in ITIL framework or alternatively another IT leadership role focused on service delivery
  • Have technical competence with SQL databases, data warehouses, scripting/programming 
  • Are aware of collaboration tools like JIRA, ticketing tools like Helix, and monitoring tools like Splunk
  • Experience working within 2nd line technical support and BizDevOps setup using agile methods
  • Have understanding of data management technologies and business intelligence tools and processes
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English, verbally and in writing 
  • Have international exposure from working in multicultural environment with multiple vendors
  • SAP HANA and IBM DataStage expertise would be additional, but very much appreciated

Your experience and background: 


  • A strong IT and leadership background with direct exposure to the senior management
  • Excellent communication skills with very good level of English  
  • Bachelor Degree or higher
  • Good organisational skills
