You may have a few years of relevant experience with risk models and/or data or have just recently graduated, as we are considering both entry level and experienced candidates. About this opportunity


Welcome to the Credit Risk Model Data Flow team, a part of Risk Models organisation. At Nordea, we use internal models for calculating regulatory capital and these models are developed and maintained by Risk Models. We work with a data asset that collect and aggregate data from most of Nordea’s data landscape. The Credit Risk Model Data Flow team has a range of upstream and downstream stakeholders and close collaboration with these stakeholders is crucial for capital reporting.

 

Embark on an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Data Specialist or Senior Business Data Specialist. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving data excellence and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

● Spearheading operational activities to elevate data quality and compliance levels, ensuring seamless processes,

● Supporting a smooth production flow of critical data, meeting and surpassing agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs),

● Adapting data based on evolving business needs to guarantee its relevance and suitability,

● Playing a pivotal role in establishing robust processes and shaping operational standards,

● Upholding top-notch governance practices, fostering an environment of high data quality,

● Collaborating closely with stakeholders, driving continual enhancements in our production processes.

You will work closely with other teams in Risk Models (both data and modelling teams) as well as with IT and Business related teams.

Your experience and background: 

  • Hold a degree in a quantitative or technology related field, including but not limited to mathematics, economics, statistics, data science or similar,
  • Have an analytical mindset and programming experience within SAS, Python or SQL,
  • Have a good understanding of risk models and/or data,
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
