About our team

 

Join the Information Capability team. We focus on building and maintaining credit data solutions and a reliable information foundation that enhances operational and capital efficiency, ensuring Nordea remains safe and trusted. We are looking for a Service Domain Solution Architect to guide the direction and design of technology solutions across our business services in our domain. 

 

Key responsibilities in this role:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business domain and the end-user outcomes our business services support, ensuring our solutions deliver meaningful and lasting value
  • Set the solution architecture direction for our business services, ensuring solutions are simple, resilient, adaptable, and sustainable in the long run
  • Define and maintain solution design standards, architectural patterns, and principles that guide consistent and high-quality solution development
  • Support business service owners and tech teams with architectural decisions, helping them navigate trade-offs and align solutions with the agreed standards and strategy
  • Promote alignment across systems and business services, ensuring solutions integrate effectively and evolve in a coherent way over time
  • Identify opportunities to improve solutions, leverage AI and other emerging technologies, and guide the long-term evolution of business services
  • Provide technical guidance and architectural support to development teams, promoting tools and practices to streamline delivery and improve governance

Your background and skills include:

  • Proven experience understanding complex business services and translating them into solutions that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Strong understanding of solution design principles, architectural patterns, and integration approaches
  • Experience setting architecture direction for scalable, adaptable, and resilient solutions
  • Experience defining solution design standards, reference architectures, and guiding principles that promote high-quality, maintainable, and long-lasting solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, mentor, and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams
  • Knowledge of APIs, integration, and modern technology stacks
  • Comprehensive big data understanding - data models, logical/physical and high/low level design
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate a complex technical landscape
  • Fluent in English, written as well as spoken

 

It would be ideal if you also have:

  • Financial services background, understanding of master data and credit risk management
  • Experience in transforming complex business problems into simple solution architectures and designs
  • Experience with AI and other emerging technologies and how they can support durable, scalable solutions
  • Proven stakeholder management across multiple teams in a complex organizational setting
  • BizDevOps experience with coordination across business, development, and operations
  • Experience in Snowflake, Cloudera/Hadoop, Power BI, or PEGA (preferred)
