About this opportunity
Welcome to the Cross-Border Payments and SWIFT Technology Software Development team! Cross-Border Payments and SWIFT Technology area provides solutions ensure secure, smooth, and reliable payment transactions to Nordea´s corporate customers including reduce of risks and enhance speed and transparency. We follow SAFe principles and our development teams are located in multiple countries.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working as an Tech Lead developer
- Developing and implementing business features in Nordea´s Cross-Border Payments and SWIFT Technology area
- Using your problem solving skills
- Helping on architecture modernization
- Cooperating with other agile team members and stakeholders
The role is based in Gdańsk/Gdynia or in Helsinki. We work in hybrid work model - 60% of a time
Who you are
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Know how to code with Java, have good communication skills and feel comfortable working with different stakeholders
Your experience and background:
- At least 8-10 years of Java Software Development
- Very useful to have knowledge of Mainframe framework (COBOL), Database skills (e.g. DB2), Design patterns and API Module building and implementation
- Nice to have knowledge on some of the following technologies: Kafka, WebLogic, IBM MQ, SWIFT Standard ISO20022, Splunk, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, GIT.
- Experience on banking payment systems is a benefit
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Good communications skills and proactive attitude
