If so, we are looking for a Technology Governance SME (Subject Matter Expert) to the Management Office within CIO Office. You will act as a trusted SME for Technology Governance process assuring that adequate policies, guidelines and procedures are in place to effectively direct and manage Technology organisation.

 

About this opportunity

 

The Technology CIO Management Office is working side-by-side with the Technology Management team and has a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation e.g. Group Risk and Group Compliance. The team is responsible, amongst other things, for ensuring that policies, guidelines, and procedures are developed, maintained and implemented to ensure sufficient system of internal controls in the Technology organisation.

 

As the Technology Governance SME, you will play an essential part in driving and supporting on Governance related initiatives, as well as, safeguarding that Technology policies, guidelines and procedures are developed, maintained, and implemented in line with internal and external regulations. You will be driving and coordinating activities across the Technology organisation and be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and ensuring we prioritise, act and continuously improve. The role sets high requirements on the ability of driving initiatives independently and work collaboratively with a large amount of divers stakeholders across the Bank. Experiences from the Nordea Risk models preferably within the Technology area will beneficial for the role.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the life cycle of Technology Governance process and drive changes in policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Secure consistency and linking between policies, guidelines and procedures across Technology
  • Drive and participate in initiatives that is impacting policies, guidelines and procedures e.g. DORA, project Air
  • Follow-up and report on controls related to policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Support and guide during audits from internal and external auditors
  • Interact with other parties responsible for policies and procedures in Nordea
  • Interact with Nordea Risk and Compliance organisations

Your experience and background:  

  • +5 years of experience from management of  Governance/Quality systems, preferable with a background in a Technology, Risk or Compliance organisation
  • A successful track record of driving change of Governance/Quality systems, e.g. creating, maintaining, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures, from previous positions
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with attention to details
  • An understanding of Nordea and our internal processes relating to Technology (desirable)
  • Fluent in English
