About our team
Welcome to the Quality Assurance Team in Sanctions Technology. You will be joining a highly competent team of testers and automation engineers within Sanctions Technology. We work very closely with GFCP Sanctions business unit which sits within Nordea’s Group Financial Crime Prevention unit and comprises employees across Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Poland, the United Kingdom and consultants from IT services vendors in India. You’ll play a valuable role in increasing quality of delivered solutions, focusing on the different quality attributes.
What you'll be doing:
- Implementing new functionalities and adjusting existing one to Java-based testing framework.
- Covering manual testers scenarios into Cucumber-based automation test cases.
- Rebuilding and refactoring testing framework to optimise test process and limit code failures.
- Running manually test flows - to understand tested product and be able to adjust and suggest most efficient testing process.
- Analysing data flows - to support DevOps team in solving environments bottlenecks.
- Cooperate with leads - to follow standards, ways of working and business requirements.
- Reviewing code of other test engineers.
- Working closely with Testing, Development, DevOps and Product Management teams in a Continuous Delivery environment.
- Communicating test results on a timely basis with all stakeholders and defect reporting.
- Supporting implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for test libraries.
- Identifying and implementing improvements for day-to-day tasks/challenges.
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you are/have:
- Hands-on experience in end to end test automation process.
- A proactive, innovative, and solution & self-driven mindset.
- Technically strong and passionate about getting to know modern technologies.
- Eager to learn and comfortable with delivering a variety of tasks in an evolving and changing environment.
- Demonstrate a high degree of structure, flexibility, planning and prioritization skills, and delivers in a timely manner, with focus on quality.
- Familiar with working in a complex environment with multiple streams cross multiple internal organizations, with people from different cultures and companies.
Your background and skills include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Good, hands-on experience in automation test using JAVA Programming-Selenium.
- Experience in testing with JMS messaging systems-IBM MQ.
- Good knowledge ofJava coding, SQL, Git, Maven.
- Understanding of Design Patterns and Clean code principles like SOLID, YAGNI, KISS.
- Hands-on experience with: Cucumber, IntelliJ IDE, Jenkins, JIRA, qTest, GIT, Putty, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working agile according to SAFe.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
Our technology stack may include, but is not limited to:
- We mainly use selenium based framework for automation as of today. Our technical stack includes Java, Jboss, Oracle, MQ, file shares, SFTP, Linux, ETL (Data Stage).
It would be ideal if you also are/have:
- Solid grounding in Financial Services industry.
- Proficiency in managing End to end Automation testing on a large-scale project.
- ISTQB Certified.
