We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to take part of a maintenance unit for our Loan IQ application. This is an opportunity to work with the ITIL framework in practice as well as DevOps in an agile environment.

 

You’ll join the Corporate Banking & International Units team, where we are different sub-teams maintaining our applications in this case the Loan IQ sub-team. You’ll take part in setting up requirements to the solution in order for us to best serve our customer’s needs. You’ll be a key person in interaction between all stakeholders: maintenance organization, business, operations, developers, testers and change organization.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Solving and support to incident and problems
  • Support to change processes
  • Analyst task e.g. maintenance requirements to the solution
  • Acting as change manager for maintenance tasks
  • Stakeholder coordination and communication
  • Verification of changes can occur outside normal business hours

You’ll be part of a sub-team which is based  in Gdansk, Poland.

We expect you to have a Bachelor/Master’s degree in IT/Economics / Finance/ Mathematics or other relevant experience. Additionally, you have a couple of years of job experience and have a strong interest in learning more about core banking. You have an analytical mind-set, are good with numbers and can compress complex topics in a simple format. You are outgoing, positive and possess good interpersonal skills.

 

Your background:

  • ITIL Foundation certificate will be considered an advantage
  • Requirement specification (functional and non-functional)
  • Experience with requirement/tasks management
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • Agile methods (Scrum and Kanban)
  • Experience with tools as Helix, Confluence will be considered an advantage
  • Great analytical skills
  • Experience within the financial industry will be considered an advantage

Experience in Oracle SQL queries/scripts

  • Experience in Windows Server administration
    • maintaining and monitoring applications
    • identifying and troubleshooting application issues
  • Hands-on experience in Powershell scripting/automation
  • Knowledge about monitoring solutions for systems and applications
  • Basic knowledge on IBM MQ
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

We also expect that you:

  • Enjoy working with people but can also work independently and take control of your own tasks 
  • Are willing to learn and develop new skills 
  • Have a strong focus on making analyses actionable 
  • Are experienced with the Microsoft Office Package
  • Have an excellent command of spoken and written English
