About our team 

 

Meet the Open Banking team. We in Open Banking are designing , developing and delivering PSD2 RTS Compliance and Premium APIs. APIs mocks are initially exposed to external Developers in the Nordea Developer Portal and Sandbox environment. APIs are thereafter implemented with integration to live customer data and exposed thru the IBM API Connect infrastructure to on-boarded Partners and PSD2 Licensed Third-Party-Providers. 
 

Our team is a highly collaborative and supportive group of professionals who put the quality of deliverables at the highest. We assure high quality of releases and business features. We are experienced and skilled QA Engineers, ensuring the highest possible degree of test coverage and test automation. Our role in the hub is to ensure faultless changes to production through a culture of quality assurance embedded into the software development lifecycle. We drive for continuous quality improvements as well as rigorous validation and performance governance.
 

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead who will join to our initiative and will proactively ensure that all QA and testing activities in initiative are planned, executed and reported in compliance with Nordea QA procedures and standards. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with respective stakeholders to provide leadership in test planning and execution
  • Understanding system architecture, test processes, capabilities and enablers to ensure the completion of all test-related activities
  • Implementing test strategies and follow up them in practice to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Coordinating, controlling and evaluating results of all test related activitiesto ensure correctness and reliability
  • Preparing and maintaining test documentation (Test Plans, Test Reports)
  • Influencing, mentoring and coaching team members to ensure teamwork, provide support for the team to boost  team productivity, and increase people satisfaction

Your background and skills include experience in: 

  • 3+ years of experience in QA Lead (or similar) role
  • Strong knowledge of QA and testing processes and tools (both manual and automated)
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies
  • Experience in working with complex systems consisting of many components and interfacing with other systems
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience in agile ways of working
  • Technical experience with microservices, CI/CD, REST APIs
