We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our growing team, offering a full-time permanent employment agreement. Nordea is a tech-driven bank where traditions meet tomorrow, and where you can make a real impact by managing some of our most critical IT supplier agreements.
About our team
You will be part of a centralised supplier and contract management unit within Group Technology. Our role is to ensure that compliant, cost-efficient and resilient IT services are delivered to Nordea, while continuously exploring opportunities for improvement, innovation and future readiness together with our suppliers.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Managing IT contracts end-to-end, including planning, drafting, negotiating and executing contract changes
- Maintaining oversight of obligations, deliverables, financial management (such as Service Level Credits) and agreement changes throughout the contract lifecycle, as well as supporting resolution of contractual disputes
- Drive and coordinate risk management activities and regulatory compliance such third party risk management assessments, business continuity, exit plan updates and testing as well as supporting audit and assurance reviews
- Provide contract expertise and guidance to service owners, interfacing units and other stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with Nordea’s strategic IT suppliers while contributing to continuous improvement of contract management best practices

- Take ownership, communicate clearly and enjoy working closely with your colleagues, internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a complex, regulated environment
Your background and skills include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, procurement or an IT delivery organisation, preferably in an complex international environment
- Hands-on experience working with IT contracts, preferably within the consultant area and/or outcome based commercial models
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
- Solid analytical skills combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commercial understanding and an ability to understand the business needs and translate into agreement terms
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have experience working with risk management and/or Supplier Relationship Management
- Have worked within a regulated environment
- Bring hands-on experience with IT services, and/or ITIL or Agile ways of working
