Nordea CX & Design Community is planning to onboard some new Designers.
This is a rare opportunity to join a mature multinational Design Community (60 people, 20 nationalities, 4 countries) in an environment that is driven by the Nordic work culture. True experience, knowledge, teamwork and cooperation over hierarchies and titles. Sharing and helping each other to develop over competing and challenging each other.
You will get a chance to collaborate with world-renowned specialists in each design discipline – learning the best practices and mastering complex design processes while working hands-on with developing the Nordic banking services. Our Design teams are composed taking into account a variety of different specialist skills – Service, UX, UI, Content and Research - and different Design Thinking frameworks are utilised on the daily basis.
In Nordea, you will get the opportunity to apply your creative skillset to a variety of hard digital challenges – from building personalized banking interfaces that are simply beautiful, to creating the next generation of customer support, and bringing the customer experience strategy to life across four countries.

- Designing solutions for customer needs in native mobile or responsive web platforms
- Working with the User Researchers to gather insight, test hypothesis and incorporate customer feedback into solutions
- Continuing to stay abreast of the latest design tools and techniques, customer needs, behaviour and perceptions, as well as business and industry drivers
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Have strong communication and writing skills (in English), as well as the ability to explain your design decisions and present your work and clearly articulate all the complexities related to design process itself and visual documentation that you will deliver.
- Ability to independently orchestrate and drive the whole design process from co-ideation through early concepts to final deliveries
- Have a passion for all things design-related
- Are a well-organised, independent and curious self-starter with good time-management abilities
What kind of projects would you be working with?

About recruitment process:
We do not believe in super-complex, multi-stage recruitment processes.
For us, the whole thing should get concluded in three 30-60 min meetings. The first one is a freestyle chat, the second is the one in which you get to present your skills, the third one is the one in which we check your cultural fit – as easy as it can get.
Feel free to apply, and if you meet our criteria, we will reach out to have a chat.
If this sounds like you, get in touch!
