You will execute supplier management tasks in line with best practices and to help producing value add for Nordea, ensuring control and oversight for the suppliers you will manage.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee and facilitate the agreed governance between Nordea and selected supplier(s) and constantly look for improvements
  • Develop and maintain long-standing relationships with Nordea’s suppliers
  • Collaborate with service owners, interfacing units and other stakeholders
  • Drive and facilitate certain risk management processes and activities with regards to your appointed supplier(s)
  • Provide oversight, guidance and support during negotiations as needed
  • Act as escalation point and resolve disputes
  • Seek value creation opportunities from supplier relationships – helping Nordea to increase the outcome of the agreements
  • Contribute to improve processes and best practices within the supplier management discipline
  • Work to increase the supplier management knowledge and understanding – both within and outside your own unit
  • Contribute and/or participate in activities with our suppliers that will increase the resiliency of the bank 
  • The role is based in Gdynia or Stockholm

Your experience and background:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an international environment working with supplier management, service delivery and/or procurement related activities
  • Hands-on experience working with IT deliveries and/or suppliers
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders as well as with suppliers
  • Risk management and/or negotiation experience
  • Experience from international roles or working in an international company with a diverse culture and daily interaction with many different nationalities
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in English (both in writing and speaking)

 

It will also be of benefit with below experience and/or competencies, but not a requirement:

  • Experience in any context of IT outsourcing, cloud, infrastructure or software solutions
  • Experience working with global suppliers in a regulated environment
