Welcome to the Network Architecture and Design team. Would you like to be part of a journey where we add value by providing full lifecycle of the network platform, defining the overall network operational strategy, ensuring technology health, alignment towards business needs, and cost-effective continuous improvement. As Network Architect, you’ll play a valuable role in providing our customers with high quality and reliable services based on high level design and architecture. As the Network Architect, you will work closely with your Nordic and Polish colleagues, who will play an important role in our success to reach that goal.
 

What you’ll be doing:

• Together with your colleagues developing and maintaining our Network roadmap and design and secure that implementation of new features are aligned with the overall architecture
• Identifying possibilities within the current architecture in order to achieve less complexity and reduced cost and risk
• Pro-actively driving the creation and maintenance of the network architecture area based on wide end-to-end understanding
• Having close cooperation with Group Architecture, Strategic Programs and Stakeholders
• Advising Application Providers and Owners about risks and opportunities
• Participating in our architectural communities
• Setting the strategy direction for the future, together with the infrastructure Platform owner’s
• Following up on project initiatives and their progress

You’ll join a new, challenging team with big influence on the shape of Nordea Network. The role is based in Gdynia; Helsinki; Warszawa.

Your experience and background: 

• Strong communication and project management skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills capable of fostering culture of collaboration with the strategic suppliers
• Strong conflict management, resolution skills and quality control skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High experience working with design and architecture in an enterprise environment
• Experience delivering key solutions to business benefits
• Background as a network architect with a track record from complex environment
• Use to working in virtual team set up
• High Technical experience with Cisco and Arista network WAN/LAN on an architecture level
• High experience working with WIFI solution will be an advance
• Proven 10 or more years working in the network area
• Experience working in a predominantly outsourced IT Infrastructure environment
