Would you like to spearhead an Agile Release Train in the Deposits and Accounts Service Domain? We are now looking for a Release Train Engineer in Deposits and Accounts to lead and coach an ART, optimize the flow of value to our customers and drive a relentless improvement culture while leveraging current SAFe best practices and principles.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the DAT Execution Leadership - Team A team. We add value by providing the target application for Nordea’s customer account ledgers, the back-bone of Nordea’s product offering to individual customers and a corner-stone of our promise to be a safe and trusted financial partner. As the Release Train Engineer in Deposits and Accounts, you’ll play a valuable role in leading and coaching an ART in this domain.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive improvements, as well as ensuring deliveries according to the prioritized backlog
  • Proactively manage stakeholders and successfully deliver according to agreed scope and priorities in a predictable, and transparent manner
  • Serve as the primary facilitator and orchestrator of the ART ceremonies, including PI planning, scrum of scrums, and retrospectives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile mindset within the ART by using relevant metrics and coaching teams on SAFe practices and principles
  • Across the ART, ensure team’s composition, competence and capacity enable high performance


You’ll join a great team of professional Project Leaders in the Execution Leadership capability. The role is based in Gdynia; Copenhagen; Gdańsk; Stockholm; Warszawa.

Your experience and background: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related field
  • Experience leading Agile Release Trains in a large-scale enterprise environment
  • Understanding of DevOps and the software development lifecycle
  • Proven track record of facilitating cross-functional collaboration and aligning multiple agile teams towards common objectives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels of an organization
  • Experience working in the banking or financial services industry is preferred
