Would you like to work with test automation in and be part of the team driving test environments across Nordea? We are now looking for a Senior IT Developer to Senior Test Automation Specialist to join our QA Enablers -Test Environments team in Gdynia, Poland.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the QA Enablers - Test Environments team. We add value by improving, implementing and supporting the IT environments and applications according to Nordea standards. As the Senior IT Developer you’ll play a valuable role in implementing the Nordea Test Strategy by providing test automation solutions in various projects across Nordea.

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Automated test cases implementation in coordination with developers, product owners and business experts
  • Eliminating manual testing and trivial activities
  • Interacting with testers, developers to identify automation opportunities 
  • Gathering and managing test data needed for testing
  • Monitoring, debugging and documenting test results
  • Proactively driving improvements to automated test coverage

 

You’ll join QA Enablers - Test Environments, part of the Quality Assurance organization and is one of the necessary building blocks to support the transformation of the bank. QA Enablers- Test Environments unit is the key driver of Test environment related strategy, governance & services across the bank.

 

The role is based in Gdynia; Gdańsk.

Your experience and background: 

 

  • 3+ years experience with developing and maintaining test automation solutions
  • Skills in GUI\API and data testing
  • Python coding skills (senior-level programming experience)
  • Robot framework hands-on experience
  • Skills with data manipulation using various data formats (e.g. XML, CSV, JSON)
  • Experience within SQL queries preparation 
  • Experience working with source code control tools (GIT), as well as experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo/Docker) 
  • Experience in Unix/Linux would be additional asset
