About this opportunity 

 
Welcome to the international team of test enthusiasts. We add value by increasing production stability and cost efficiency while creating and deploying new solutions to our customers. As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll play a valuable role in increasing quality of delivered solutions focusing on production incidents. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Gather details about Production incidents 
• Search via logs 
• Triage of Production incidents 
• Reproduce the incident in test environment 
• Identify need and scope for regression tests 
• JIRA and Helix ticket management 
• Facilitation of meetings with various stakeholders 
• Retest defect fixes 
• Ensuring that the following activities are conducted in an efficient and well documented way, i.e. working according to latest version of Nordea Test Strategy 
• Defects reporting (including handling and verifying) 
• Working actively with the whole team which cares about incidents 
• Working in international environment  

The role is based in Gdynia/Gdańsk or Warsaw.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you: 

• Have experience with logs analysing (preferable Splunk) 
• Have experience with defects management 
• Have experience with T24 system and its Retail product (required)
• Have general testing knowledge (proven by e.g. level of ISTQB Foundation)  
• Have ability to drive and support QA activities across the support team  
• Have a tester mindset (attention to details / quality / problem solving) 
• Have an ability to work with international environment 
• Are willing to learn and understand new tools and processes 

Your experience and background:   

• More than 5 years of professional working experience (preferably Agile Teams) 
• Experienced in defining, executing and reporting tests for complex software systems 
• Experience in System Testing of modern UI (Web) 
• API Testing with using Postman, Swagger 
• Experience in test management tools (preferably qTest or similar) 
• Jira/Confluence practical experience 
• Nice to have experience in working with SAFE methodology 
• Experience in mobile apps testing would be an additional asset
