Senior Sourcing Manager (permanent position)
We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager with +5 years of experience to become part of our growing and ambitious Sourcing Team. You possess strong commercial acumen, negotiation experience and project management skills, you communicate with impact, and you have a proven track record of delivering commercial value and savings through cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.

Sourcing has a key role to play in this exciting and challenging journey, and you will be driving a range of complex sourcing projects within Technology Sourcing to deliver on Nordic Scale across a range of different commodities. Sourcing is focused on working closely with multiple Business Units to deliver cost savings, process efficiencies and create value whilst ensuring regulatory compliance.

Main responsibilities in this role:
- Independently leading a range of complex and strategic procurement activities in accordance with Nordea Procurement Policy and regulatory requirements
- Proactively promoting and producing ideas for sourcing projects/activities that will add value to Nordea with a positive impact to Nordea’s Nordic Scale strategy and Cost/Income ratio
- Developing commercial models and facilitating market research to ensure fact based decision making on assigned projects
- Owning and aligning negotiation strategies with key stakeholders on assigned projects
- Leading contract drafting in cooperation with our colleagues from Group Legal
- Acting as subject matter expert on Sourcing related activities and supporting the development of competences of colleagues within Group Procurement and throughout the wider organization to strengthen Nordea’s sourcing knowledge base
Who you are
This is the right role for you if:

Your background and skills include:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Degree in Law, Business, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain Management or similar
- 5+ year of commercial experience in a multi stakeholder environment
- Proven track record in delivering on delivering savings and value by managing complex sourcing projects and driving commercial negotiations
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to develop an effective strategy for completing your tasks and influence suppliers and key stakeholders in the organization
It would be ideal if you also:
- Experience with international roles or working in an international company with a diverse culture and daily interaction with many different nationalities will be seen as an advantage
- Experience with IT/Cloud/AI transaction will be seen as an advantage
