About this opportunity

Welcome to the Software License Management team where our team members work with individual tasks and suppliers in a team-friendly atmosphere supporting each other to grow and succeed. We add value by providing central governed Software IT Asset Management and together with platform and application owners ensure compliancy in our area of responsibility. As Software IT Asset Engineer you’ll play a valuable role in Nordea to make the difference by monitoring and analyzing the current use of implemented software and mitigate any upcoming risk related to usage of outdated versions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Monitor the Nordea IT Software installations and recognize the current outdated versions which will be addressed to application Owners for actions.
  • Analyze and priorities the software at risk.
  • Have a continuous dialogue with stakeholders in their process of mitigating the risk and escalate issues when needed.
  • Produce different status reports on a regular basis to stakeholders and management.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

  • Good driving skills and ability to work independently 
  • Good knowledge in software life cycle management and software in general
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English)


Your experience and background: 

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience within Software life cycle management or IT development
  • Proven data analytics and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge about SAM/SLO tools, i.e. Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow.
  • Experience from working with PowerBI and Excel will be an advantage.
