We are looking for a fall intern (Aug to Dec 2026) in Nordea Debt Capital Markets (DCM).
About our team
Meet Nordea Debt Capital Markets, the leading Nordic DCM franchise across all SSA (Sovereign, Supranational and Agency), financial and corporate issuance for both Pan Nordic and Global clients. The internship role will be in the SSA/ Financial Institutions Group team within DCM.
Nordea DCM is part of Nordea Investment Banking within the Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) division and the SSA/FIG DCM team works closely with many parts within Nordea LC&I.

What you’ll be doing
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Day to day client coverage
- Live bond deal execution
- Produce market updates and marketing materials
- Learn how bank and SSA funding markets work
- Structuring of different SSA/FIG funding & capital products
Full time desk based role which requires serious commitment, and can offer a long term career opportunity in Nordea Investment Banking.
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you’re passionate for a career in investment banking/capital markets, ready to work hard and are a focused team player. The role is based in Helsinki and requires excellent communication skills including fluency in Finnish and English.
Your background and skills include:
- Finalising your studies for Master's/Bachelor's or you are a recent graduate with less than two years of experience in the field
- Strong academic record – you are committed to excellence in your studies and ready to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting
- Previous experience in finance
- Fluency in Finnish and English
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have completed a Master's or Bachelor's in Finance/Economics
- Have strong extracurricular interest/track record in finance
