About our team

 

Meet the Market Analytics & Execution team, part of the Markets Business Technology unit in LC&I. We serve as technical partners to Rates and Fixed Income Trading and Sales teams throughout the Nordic countries, operating from our development hubs in Helsinki and Copenhagen. We advise and create technical solutions, advanced hedging capabilities, and provide access channels for key figures, prices and advisory tools both internally and externally.

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role: 

  • Hands-on design, code, test, maintain and support event-driven microservices that implement trade execution, rich integrations, and customer trade automation using backend languages such as Java and C# 
  • Collaborate closely with developers and key business stakeholders including traders, quants, sales representatives in a dynamic, fast-paced delivery environment 
  • Drive, coordinate and follow-up on the delivery of system integrations from multiple IT teams ensuring timely execution 
  • Establish and document solution architecture with adherence to relevant standards and guidelines 
  • Contribute to both backend and frontend development when needed, working across our diverse technology stack  

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you have a solid software engineering foundation and passion for technology that makes a real business difference. You're comfortable having direct access to business stakeholders and either have knowledge of or genuine interest in financial instruments. We welcome developers at various experience levels who demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, self-direction, and thrive in environments with changing requirements.  

 

Your background and skills include:

  • Relevant degree in computer science, engineering, math, economics, or (computational) finance 
  • Strong backend development skills in languages such as Java and C# 
  • Hands-on experience building fault-tolerant and self-healing systems 
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements 
  • You demonstrate high ownership and can work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams 
  • You are open to working with both backend and frontend technologies when needed 

 

It would be ideal if you also: 

  • Interest or previous experience in financial products, trading and risk management within Rates and Fixed Income 
  • Interest or previous experience in Financial Models 
  • Passion for mathematics and problem-solving in complex domains 
  • Experience working in agile, business-focused development environments
